We provide the correct technical foundation, condition the mind and the body and refine the abilities of any individual that comes to us. We believe the discipline of this sport can help overcome adversity and provide a sense of community. It's all about learning boxing the right way.

MONDAY | THE FUNDAMENTALS (1 Hour)


The fundamentals is a no nonsense approach to a traditional boxing class. It is about building a strong base and building up from that framework.

There is a big emphasis on footwork, structure and understanding boxing concepts.

We are here to improve and the only way to do that is to get your reps in! This class will set your intentions for the week and get you started off on the right way.

THE CONDITIONING (1 Hour)


This class will have you hitting harder and moving faster. Aerobic capacity is one of the most important factors in determining your performance in the ring.

We tailor the movements in this class to ensure peak performance.

TUESDAY | THE PADWORK (1 Hour)


 

Padwork is an essential part of every boxing journey. It allows you to improve your technique, skills, boxing IQ and boxing ability. During our padwork class not only will you learn how to throw punches and defend correctly but you will also be taught the skill of holding mitts.

THURSDAY | THE PARTNER DRILLS (1 Hour)


Take what you learn in fundamentals and learn how to apply it in realistic scenarios.

You will have the ability to practice all of the fundamentals on a partner to ensure you are improving your boxing skills.

Hitting the pads and bags have a place in training but in order to level up you’ll need to be able to perform these movements against a live partner.

FRIDAY | FIGHT TACTICS (1 Hour)


 

This class is all about improving your boxing IQ. You can have all the fundamentals and skills in the world but without knowing when to use the correct technique, at the right distance, with the right timing you will never be able to correctly box.
 
This class is all about understanding and improving your ability in the ring.

SATURDAY | THE SPARRING (1.5 Hours)


The Workshop is all about putting it all together.

Incorporating boxing fundamentals, knowledge, applied drills, conditioning and sparring.

In this class you will be working to improve all aspects of boxing.

IN YOUR CORNER

COACH RAY


I have been boxing for 12 years and my passion is teaching the craft of the sport that saved me.

When I started, I was obese and a full time smoker. I had never played a sport in my life, I lacked confidence and had no sense of drive or purpose. I was frequently getting into trouble and fights but boxing saved me.

When I started boxing, I was full of ego thinking my fight experiences in the street would translate but boxing quickly humbled me. I became hooked but in order to fight, I had to lose over 40kg. The experience shifted my perspective and gave me something to redirect my energy towards. I learnt the value of investing in myself and my own journey.

For the last 6 years I have dedicated myself to coaching the sport of boxing. I was in charge of running multiple white collar boxing events as a head coach and have helped over 50 people get into the ring for their first boxing match.

I don’t believe that everyone was born to be a boxer. But I do believe everyone is born a fighter. We all fight in our every day lives, boxing has given me the tools and experience to be able to overcome any obstacle I face in my life. Whether it be physical, mental or emotional.

My goal is to use boxing to help people understand what this sport can do to change your life.
